Define angle

An angle is a geometric figure that is formed when two rays, two segments, or two sides meet at the same endpoint.

We call the endpoint vertex. The geometric figure below is an angle.

Notice how the blue ray and the green ray meet at the common endpoint or the vertex (shown in red)
